The 2017 MPWR seminar included panel discussions led by leading female education researchers from within and beyond the RUME community, professional development activities, and opportunities for establishing mentor-relationships.

We were extremely pleased to have Catherine Good (CUNY) give a plenary presentation on Implicit Bias. Lara Alcock (Loughborough University), Jessica Deshler (West Virginia University), Ebony McGee (Vanderbilt) and Deborah Moore-Russo (SUNY) served on a panel addressing “How to support each other in making good contributions to science.” Amanda Jansen (University of Delaware), Elizabeth Burroughs (Montana State University), and Megan Wawro (Virginia Tech) led a panel on “How to support each other in being successful.”
